🐾 We are out in our village this week treating cats who unfortunately caught the deadly feline panleukopenia virus (feline parvo). A few have survived, including this little kitten and its litter mate! 💕

I put the villagers to work helping give fluids to their own animals whilst I prepare the rest of the medications 🙏
We were meant to be spaying this entire group of cats this weekend but we have altered our plans- choosing instead to wait until they are fully recovered first.

Chiang Mai Male Cat finding it hard to urinate

🐈‍⬛ Cats have a weird way of saying thanks 🤣 certainly no smiles here though this cat’s life likely just got saved.

Hit by a vehicle, he hasn’t urinated in 4 days and when I heard this, I rushed him to the clinic. I am out in the village all this week helping treat cats with feline parvo and thankfully, his owner asked for help for this male cat at the same time!

It will take a few days of treatment and testing to make sure he will be all right. Until then, I’ll try not to make eye contact 🤣

Cat in Chiang Mai needs surgery after attack by dogs

🆘 This poor kitty was likely attacked by dogs and has been ripped open on the abdomen with exposed inner organs (I’ll save you the bloody photos!)… she needs surgery asap to help with the injuries we can see and to explore the intestines to make sure any and all deeper wounds are fixed too!

Are you able to help with her surgery costs (estimated $250 USD/9,000 baht including spay)

PS: We were unable to find the owners and are therefore putting this kitten up for adoption if anyone locally is interested 💕
