Calmee

Meet Calmee! She is a sweet young dog who has not had it easy in life. Abandoned twice, once after being hit by a car and the owners no longer wanting to care for her and we were told by her second owner to “bring her to a temple or shelter and leave her there” since they were moving. This would likely have been a death sentence since Calmee doesn’t do well with other dogs.

Calmee deserved better so we built a huge area for her that opens up into the garden area (which she has access to when the other dogs are not there). She’s bonded with one other dog pretty well so, with supervision, they get to play and run 💕 she loves people and is super grateful we did not just “dump her” as instructed.

🎁 A gift of 1,000 baht per month ($30 USD) helps us cover the costs of her food, flea/ticks medications, blankets and toys, and any minor little extras she needs to be healthy and happy at our sanctuary 💕

Sponsors of dogs in our care receive additional photos and updates of the dogs during their stay via messenger too!
