Invasive but treatable cancer

This beautiful dog, named by the vet staff as “Rhino”, has fully healed from her cancer ♥️ she is taking a break from the hospital and staying with the puppies at my house for a little while to receive more love and lots of nutritious food to help her gain weight before her upcoming surgery!

The tumor (which likely was growing for at least a year) broke through her palate and left a gaping hole when the tumor receded (this is not the open wound we can see on the photo- there is another hole on the roof of her mouth which means fluids she takes in run out via her nose causing aspiration). She is set to have this repaired next week!

Please keep her in your thoughts 🥰 we would also love to see her have her own quiet and loving home when she recovers from all the medical issues. She is truly one of the sweetest dogs I’ve met and would do so well in a home, off the streets 🐾
